2025 JCAM Curling Bonspiel/Funspiel

The Japanese Cultural Association of Manitoba (JCAM) bonspiel is on! We invite you to participate in our 20th BONSPIEL/FUNSPIEL! It has proven to be a fun-filled event with lots of good curling, prizes, food and fun. 

You spoke. We listened. Our change to a one-day format in 2023 was a hit so we are continuing with this format with shorter games. Less curling, but even more fun! We hope the fun format will also encourage new curlers to the event. The location of the curling has also changed. We have secured ice at the Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club which has 8 sheets of ice.

We need your commitment by Friday, March 1st. Once we know how many individuals/teams have committed, we will make a decision to proceed or cancel. Don’t delay. Please register today!  

SATURDAY, April 5th 

• Tentative start time of 8:30 a.m.
• Japanese Cuisine dinner and banquet at the Japanese Cultural Centre at 6:00 p.m.
• Final number of ends and games to be determined once registration closes

ENTRY FEES

• Only $200 per team or $50 per individual (includes curling, prizes & a Japanese Cuisine Dinner)
• Each team to donate a prize for the Auction (approximate value $25)
• Extra Cuisine Dinner tickets ($30 adult / $15 children) will be available so you can bring your family and friends

ELIGIBILITY - All teams must have at least one curler of Japanese descent OR be a member of JCAM
